In part 2 of Where Did They Go?, let's talk about Major Tom. Major Tom, the space man, had quite a life.
Space Oddity by David Bowie
He was at the top of his game, when he entered the space race in the sixties.
Ashes to Ashes by David Bowie
He got a little strung out on drugs by the late seventies.
Major Tom (Coming Home) by Peter Schilling
By the eighties, he got himself cleaned up. Good for you, Major Tom!

Where Did They Go?
Do you ever wonder what happened to the people that are sung about in songs? What happened to them after the song ended? I ponder these questions at times. Here are a few examples, and what I think happened to them.
The Partridge Family – “Point Me In The Direction Of Albuquerque”
Did the “rag doll” ever get home? Well, my guess is that she did, but did not turn out well, as is seen in the next song.
Aerosmith – “Rag Doll”
Nick Gild – “Hot Child in the City”
Did this “hot child” make it home? Well, over to Sammy Hagar’s place.
Sammy Hagar - “Baby's On Fire”
The Doors - “Gloria”
Where did Gloria go? Well, she was still around in the eighties.
Laura Branigan – “Gloria”
There, the mystery is solved!

Getting Old
Something I thought up today. I am somewhere between 2 and 3, myself.
When you walk past a group of people, and they are laughing...
1. When you are young, you assume that they are laughing about you, and you feel bad.
2. When you get older, you figure that they are laughing about something else, not you, so you don’t feel bad.
3. When you are very old, you know that they are laughing about you, and you don’t care!

The Blogger Poem
Why no blog for today?
I can’t think of anything to say.
But if I did, would you give it a digg?
Probably not, but that’s okay.
