It’s hard to predict the future. Future Shock tried to predict the future in the seventies, but watching it now, it seems silly, and not very useful for predicting anything.

These two movies came out in 2006, and they seem to be coming true already.

Is it the end of the world as we know it? I doubt it. Do you want the world to end? I know I don’t. I don’t know how we will fix all of the problems in the world, but I do think that people are working on it.

How will it end? I don’t know. I’m not good at predictions either!

India is designing a car to be sold next year that runs on compressed air. It will have a top speed of 68 mph, and a range of 125 miles.

Tesla Motors is producing the 2008 Tesla Roadster, an all electric sports car. It will have a top speed of 130 mph, and a range of 200 miles.

Volkswagen 94 mpg car: the 1-Litre-Car

Volkswagen has developed a prototype car that consumes just 1 litre per 100 kilometres, for 282 mpg.

New 125 Miles per Gallon Toyota Prius

The Pennsylvania based Lithium Technology Corporation recently demonstrated a new type of "plug-in" Toyota Prius hybrid car. The new model is based on advanced lithium iron phosphate battery which allows the hybrid car to travel up to a distance of 125 miles per gallon of fuel.
