Batman Fun!

Joker Interrogation Scene Spoof

From: MonkeyandApple

Okay this question's getting asked a lot so just to be clear: I play the Joker, and I play Batman. Same guy. I did everything except punch myself in the face, which came compliments of my friend Robert (I think you can see how much he enjoyed it). Thank you all for watching.

Happy Songs

We all at times need to feel good about ourselves. These songs can help put us in a good mood.

I'm Okay – Styx

Everything is alright, because I'm okay, just the way I am!

'Cause I'm okay
I finally found the person I've been searching for
I'm alright
I'm feeling good about myself and that's for sure

From: nudeanaglyphs

This was created using POV-Ray to the tune "I'm Okay" by Styx.

Downtown – Petula Clark

Maybe going downtown will cheer you up. Or, at least the song will.

And you may find somebody kind-
To help and understand you,
someone who is just like you
And needs a gentle hand
To guide them along.
So maybe I'll see you.
There we can forget all our troubles,
Forget all our cares.
So go down town.
Things'll be great when you're
Down town.
Don't wait a minute more
Down town.
Everything's waiting for you
Down town.

Don't Worry, Be Happy – Bobby Mcferrin

Making Our Dreams Come True" – Cyndi Grecco

The theme song for Laverne & Shirley.

On your mark, get set, and go now,
Got a dream and we just know now,
We're gonna make our dream come true.
And we'll do it our way, yes our way.
Make all our dreams come true,
And do it our way, yes our way,
Make all our dreams come true
For me and you.

I Feel Fine – The Beatles

From: miweb74

Baby's good to me, you know
She's happy as can be, you know
She said so
I'm in love with her and I feel fine

Believe It or Not – Joey Scarbury

The theme song for Greatest American Hero.

Believe it or not,
I'm walking on air.
I never thought I could feel so free eee eee.
Flying away on a wing and a prayer.
Who could it be?
Believe it or not it's just me.

The Green Hornet

The Green Hornet was a TV show that ran for one season, 1966-1967.

Like Batman, they wore masks. There was The Green Hornet and his sidekick, Kato. They also had a car, the “Black Beauty.” Bruce Lee played Kato, by the way.

Hogan's Heroes TV ad for Jell-O

Yesterday, we talked about Hogan's Heroes. It was a popular show, so of course they made commercials with the cast.

From: philosophiste. The cast of Hogan's Heroes (and Carol Channing) hawk Jell-O and Dream Whip in this TV commercial from the 1960s.

Hogan’s Heroes

I used to watch this show all the time as a kid. I still find it funny.

From wikipedia:

The show took place at Stalag 13, a POW camp located near the town of Hammelburg, run by the Luftwaffe for captured airmen. Although there was a real-life Stalag 13 near Hammelburg (formally known as Stalag XIII-C Hammelburg/Mainfranken), the one in Hogan's Heroes was entirely fictional.

The show's premise was that the POWs were actually active war participants, using the camp as a base of operations for Allied espionage and sabotage against the Nazis. The "prisoners" could leave and return almost at will via a secret network of tunnels and had radio contact with Allied command. They were aided by the incompetence of the camp commandant Colonel Klink and his aide Sergeant Schultz; Hogan would routinely manipulate the incompetent Klink and get Schultz to look the other way while his men conducted secret operations.

Here are some of the highlights from the show.

Carter imitating Hitler

From: chiraag87 "This is the scene in "Will the real Adolf please stand up", where Sgt Carter Imitates Hitler to fool Klink, Schultz, and even Burkhalter."

Rebuilding the German Aircraft Engine

From: numloxx. "Hogan and the boys steal a new silent aircraft engine, and are in the process of rebuilding it when they have some parts left over."

Clips From Krzysiobeatles2

To The Gestapo With Love

From: puppyluvr2828. "A shorter version of the episode from Hogan's Heroes. I had to cut a lot out because when I finally finished it, it was way over 10 minutes long, so I had to shorten it. Hope you enjoy it!"

Carter's Rabbit Trap

From: puppyluvr2828. This is little bits from one of the episodes called "Klink Vs. The Gonculator." Hogan and everyone else are asked to get an underground agent out of germany and escape to England. Hogan can't figure out a way to do that until he sees Carter's Rabbit Trap. The plan works out just fine! Hope you enjoy! Sorry the quality is bad. I tried."

Star Trek: What's Next?

Yesterday we talked about Star Wars. Today let’s talk about Star Trek. It started in the 60s with the TV show Star Trek, which was on for three seasons, and then it was cancelled.

In the 70’s there was Star Trek: The Animated Series for one season. It stared the original actors from the original series.

After that, the movies did not start until 1979. From 1979 to 1991, there were six movies made with the original actors from the original series.

Then, starting in the 80’s came the new TV shows. Star Trek: The Next Generation (1987–1994), Star Trek: Deep Space Nine (1993–1999), Star Trek: Voyager (1995–2001), and Star Trek: Enterprise (2001–2005).

From 1994 to 2002, there were four more movies, with the cast from Star Trek: The Next Generation.

So, what is up for Star Trek now?

In December 2008, there will be a new Star Trek movie. The film will feature James T. Kirk and Spock, but who will play them? http://en.wikipedia.org

Also, there is a new TV show for Star Trek on the web. Star Trek: New Voyages. It takes off where Star Trek from the 60s ended. After all, it was a five year mission. There are two years to go. It uses different actors instead of the original actors. http://www.StarTrekNewVoyages.com

I’m glad that they are still making Star Trek movies and TV shows. Star Wars people, how about you?

Terminator TV Series, Part 2

The trailer for "The Sarah Connor Chronicles" was taken off YouTube. Apparently, Warner Bros. Entertainment, Inc. did not want the free publicity.

No problem, there is plenty of information on the web about this new TV show.

You can find the same video that was on Youtube on Google. video.google.com

According to Wikipedia, “The Sarah Connor Chronicles is an American television series scheduled for debut on the U.S. television network Fox in early 2008.” wikipedia.org

IMDB has an entry. imdb.com

And, you can see clips from the show on Fox. fox.com

I’m looking forward to it!
