Top 10 Halloween Pop Songs

It is October, and Halloween will be upon us soon? How about some Halloween music? I found this this list at:

1. DJ Jazzy Jeff and the Fresh Prince - "Nightmare On My Street" (1988)

2. Bobby "Boris" Pickett - "The Monster Mash" (1962)

3. Michael Jackson - "Thriller" (1982)

Here’s the video, in Legos.

Here’s the orginal version:

4. Mike Oldfield - "Tubular Bells Pt. 1" (Theme From 'The Exorcist') (1973)

5. 'Rocky Horror Picture Show' Soundtrack - "The Time Warp" (1975)

I’ve written about this movie before.

The Intro is also a good Halloween song:, along with There’s a Light:

6. Specials - "Ghost Town" (1981)

7. Squirrel Nut Zippers - "Hell" (1997)

8. Talking Heads - "Psycho Killer" (1977)

9. The Who - "Boris the Spider" (1966)

10. White Zombie - I'm Your Boogie Man (1996)

Not all of my favorite Halloween songs are on this list, so I will probably make another list later. In the meanwhile, happy listening!

You missed Monster Mash but I love Tubular Bells and Psycho Killer. Neat way of putting it all together. :) Sheri

I'm glad you liked the list. "Monster Mash" was number 2 on the list. I just made a second list with 20 Halloween songs on it.
