This one stroke just on the other side of the street. Quite a nice bang it had. Luckily the tree didn't catch fire.

These days with photo editing software, you never know, but if that photograph is for real, it is a stunner! My father in law's house in NJ was hit by lightning last week. It came right in to the kitchen through the wiring, destroyed an appliance, and started a small fire.

Good point. According to the photographer, it was real, but who can tell?
